Our boiler had failed on new years eve and yet Darren was quickly on hand. He was able to source the new part and have the boiler up and working again by 2nd January. Given the time of year I was incredibly impressed with the turn around time. This is the second time I have used Darren and on both occasions he was very helpful, fair on value and overall provided a great service. Would highly recommend.

I initially called Darren when we discovered an issue with the hot water cylinder. He took time to talk through the issue over the phone and then stopped by a few days later to resolve the problem. We were so impressed we asked Darren to come back to service the boiler.

I selected Darren from this site due to the reviews. He did not disappoint! Following a boiler service, we were left with a leaking boiler and intermittent hot water. On speaking to that particular tradesman it was confirmed that he does not listen to the concerns of the customer. This is why i chose to seek a second opinion. Darren was extremely knowledgeable and was able to explain the causes. I was unfortunately away when we arranged for him to complete the work so he only had my elderly dad for assistance and me at the end of the phone! I was sorry not to meet him as we are so pleased with the work. There is no leak, the water is piping hot & the house doesn’t sound as though it may explode when the heating is turned on! Darren was amazing. When I called him he spoke to me at length and in detail about my heating problem, to see if there was anything I could do myself to get some heat in my house. He came out as soon as he could, was on time, and was so helpful. He fixed the issue in a matter of minutes and saved me hundreds of pounds! The easiest 5 out of 5 rating. We had our gas fire serviced, which hadn't been done for a while. Darren, basically stripped it down completely and thoroughly cleaned and repaired the lot. And even included spray painting the back panels and coals. We now have a new fire! Well happy and will definitely be using his services again.

Darren was fantastic. He was able to look at our Boiler within a few days of contacting him and arrived exactly when he said he would. He then quickly and correctly diagnosed the problem, only 1 part was required in order to completely fix the boiler. 30 minutes after leaving our house he texted back saying he can get the part and be back in an hour to fit it, would that be ok? Darren came on time and managed to find the fault we had we a very complicated heating system involving numerous pumps and incorrect wiring carried out by previous installers. He also serviced our boiler and replaced a worn out seal. His fee was very reasonable and I was delighted with his work. Excellent service. I had water leaking from my boiler, and after being messed around by British Gas, I called Darren. He turned up the same day and resolved the problem immediately, which meant that I didn't have to go another day without hot water. My boiler started to play up, so I gave Darren a call and he fitted me in on the same day, which was great. He came on time and was very friendly and professional, in no time at all he had found the problem and my boiler was back up and running again :-). After that Darren went round the house and check that all my radiators were working properly. He also showed me what the problem was and how to stop it happening again. I had only been living in the house for a short time and was not given the info on how to work the controls on the heating and water system properly, Darren knew this type of system and was more than happy to show me how it works and set it all up for me. I was a bit sceptical about finding a gas engineer online having been let down in the past by unreliable tradesmen, however the boiler at best was just about working so I had no choice. The following day I called Darren, he was polite and enthusiastic and above all confident he could fix the boiler. Within a day or so he turned up as agreed, inspected the boiler and said he would text a quote for the parts he diagnosed as needing replacing. Sure enough later that day I received the quote and contacted him to give him the go ahead. Again as promised he contacted me once he had the parts and booked me in for repairs. Whilst he fitted the parts he also carried out the annual service. Overall I was very pleased with the job, I felt that he was honest with me, he gave good advice delivered as promised. It’s now been a week or so since the repairs we carried out and the boiler is like new, in fact it left me feeling I should have had this done months ago….I will definitely use Darren again

Panic stations !! Boiler packed up the very day that we were due to fly out on holiday. Fortunately we have used Darren before so I gave him a call. He promised to come over that very day and true to his word (as always ) he arrived just after lunch. After checking things out he found it was some complicated valve thingy ?? What now?
No problem to Darren, he was on his phone and sourced the part required. Only we were flying in 2 hours how was this going to work? Anyway, it was arranged for Darren to liaise with our wonderful neighbour ( also a happy customer ) to do it while we were away.
The result, we arrive home from holiday to a lovely warm house, very welcome as it was snowing outside. We would never know anybody had been in the house except for the warmth.

Darren was excellent. We came back from the North on Boxing Day to find our boiler had stopped working. After an awful day of freezing cold, we had to call someone to help us. Tried British Gas, but they could not come for about two weeks, not much use in the temperatures we were experiencing! We looked at Trustatrader.com to find local Plumbers who could repair boilers. We thought the video on Darren's website looked promising, so gave him a call. He replied straight away despite it technically being a Bank Holiday. He came promptly the next morning, and discovered the boiler needed a new fan, which he ordered, but meanwhile he managed to spark the old fan into life, with a view to fitting the new fan the next week. However, sadly, the boiler decided it would not play ball, and promptly died again soon after Darren left. We texted Darren to let him know. With the prospect of the whole New Year weekend in the cold, we were feeling very cold and miserable, and the temperatures were not helping us outside, as the frosts kept biting. Luckily, as soon as Darren got the part he rang to say he could fit it on the Friday before the weekend. This he did successfully, and we are warm again! Fantastic service from a very friendly and professional man. We will certainly be using his services again. We would recommend Darren to anyone!

Darren arrived when he said he would to give me a quote on a new combination boiler. He explained fully what the various options were for both the boiler and thermostat systems. There was no hard sell just facts and information. On the day of the installation Darren arrived nice and early and worked tirelessly through the full day to try and get the install complete so we weren't without heating and hot water overnight, he even stayed late to make sure this happened, I know he hit a few snags during the installation, mainly because I live in an old house and the system that was already in was awful, he went above and beyond to make sure he got around these issues, even to the point of making permanent adjustments to tools to make it happen. The installation and new boiler look great, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I would definitely use Lynch's Gas again, and would certainly recommend him to friends and family.
